Nepal’s automobile industry is heading into another major showcase, but this year’s NADA Auto Show comes with a bigger reason to pay attention.

As NADA marks 50 years of representing Nepal’s automotive industry, its 18th auto show is set to bring six days of new vehicles, emerging technologies, business and mobility experiences to Bhrikutimandap.

The NADA Auto Show 2026 will be held from August 25 to 30, 2026, at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Venue in Kathmandu. The event will be organized by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, with HP Lubricantsserving as the Title Sponsor.

The 2026 edition will be particularly significant for NADA as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. The association has therefore positioned this year’s exhibition as the Golden Jubilee Edition, with a larger representation of Nepal’s automobile and mobility ecosystem.

The six-day exhibition is expected to bring together automobile manufacturers, importers, dealers, financial institutions, insurance companies, component suppliers, technology providers and other businesses connected to the automotive sector. The organizers expect around 200,000 visitors to attend the event.

Spread across approximately 300,000 square feet, the exhibition will feature more than 200 large and small stalls. The show will include 23 passenger vehicle brands, 17 light commercial vehicle brands and 13 two-wheeler brands, alongside 10 financial and insurance service providers.

The wider automotive ecosystem will also have a significant presence, with around 70 exhibitors showcasing automotive parts, accessories, tires, lubricants, garage equipment and other automobile-related products and services.

One of the key additions this year will be the Made in Nepal / Made for Nepal Pavilion, which will highlight products assembled or manufactured within Nepal. The pavilion will feature vehicles assembled in Nepal along with locally assembled or manufactured lubricants, batteries, helmets and other automotive products.

The exhibition will also look beyond conventional automobiles. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience emerging technologies through the G1 Humanoid Robot and Go2 Quadruped Robot, bringing robotics and future mobility into the show.

Vehicle launches will remain one of the major attractions of the exhibition, with manufacturers expected to introduce different vehicles and new variants during the event. For consumers, the show will provide an opportunity to see the latest products entering or expanding in the Nepali market in one location.

Alongside the vehicle displays, NADA Auto Show 2026 will feature a symposium focused on smart mobility, sustainable development of the automobile sector and connectivity. The discussions are expected to address some of the major changes taking place in the mobility industry as electrification, digital technology and connected mobility continue to reshape the automotive landscape.

The exhibition will be divided into dedicated zones for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, financial institutions, auto components and garage equipment, allowing visitors to explore different segments of the industry more conveniently.

For visitors planning to attend, tickets will be available through Khalti by IME, the event's Ticketing Partner. Advance ticket booking through the Khalti app will also come with a 50% cashback offer for a limited period.

NADA has also announced a range of facilities and arrangements aimed at making the exhibition more convenient and accessible. A dedicated media desk will be available for journalists and media personnel, while a Traffic Information Desk will operate in coordination with the Metropolitan Traffic Police.

Additional parking will be available at the underground parking area of the Nepal Police Club’s Blue Pavilion and at the National Trading Corporation premises in Singha Durbar. The venue will also have cafeteria facilities, emergency medical support, CCTV surveillance and fire-control arrangements.

The organizers have also said that the exhibition will be wheelchair accessible, while security and emergency services will be deployed throughout the event.

The NADA Auto Show has traditionally served as one of Nepal’s biggest platforms for automobile brands to showcase products and connect directly with consumers. This year, however, the event comes at an important point for the industry, with EV adoption accelerating, new technologies entering the market and local assembly and manufacturing receiving greater attention.

With its 50th anniversary, more than 200 stalls, over 50 vehicle brands, new product launches and a stronger focus on future mobility, NADA Auto Show 2026 is set to turn Bhrikutimandap into the center of Nepal’s automotive industry for six days.
